3. Iron Man (May 2^nd) – the birth of a new franchise for Marvel.

I love that playboy aspect of Tony Starks, y’know, cause its so different to the other comic characters out there. He’s also different in the sense that his superpowers wasn’t given, or that he was bitten by a radioactive animal or sumtin silly. He had to use his brain. He is one of the smartest man on the planet and he has the wealth to make his imaginations fly.

Top 6 Most Anticipated Movies Of The Summer (No 4)

4. Hellboy 2: The Golden Army (July 18^th) – love the Mike Mignola comics, thought the first movie was good but not great. That said, I loooooove these characters. Hellboy, Abe Sapien, Johan (the bubble guy, wait till you see the movie) and others are like action figures that come to life.

I heard the Angel of Death character and creatures in the movie is amazing. I cant wait to see it.

5. The Incredible Hulk (June 13^th) – I didn’t really have any interest in this movie, since I havent heard much coverage about it. That all changed the moment I saw this trailer.

This movie’s gonna be so action packed. I can’t wait to see it! Hulk smash!

4-1 against Tottenham! Woo hooo! Go Newcastle United!

4-1? Away at Tottenham? How did that happen?

Ach, whatever, that makes it two wins in a row for us and hopefully away from the relegation zone. Michael Owen and Obafemi Martins is looking good again, hence the goals.

Top 6 Most Anticipated Movies Of The Summer (No 6)

This is a longer post than usual, but when we’re talking about movies I gotta ramble you see.

We’re almost at the summer season, which is my version of heaven on earth hehehe god, I love my summer movies. Traditionally, Hollywood always reserve their biggest, most thrilling and fun popcorn movies for the summer period, which unofficially start from April to August.

Last year, my favorite movie of the summer was Transformers. I haven’t been that thrilled and shocked watching a movie for a long, long, long time.

Watching Optimus Prime and Megatron come to life was just a joy for a kid that grew up on the TV series (even though I didn’t understand what they were saying). I heard they’re also making G.I.Joe the Movie, so hopefully that turns out well too.

Here’s a countdown list of my 6 most anticipated movies for this summer (2008), starting with number 6:

6. Wall-E (June 27^th) – how can you go wrong with Pixar? I will forever cherish my copy of Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and Monsters Inc, a perfect blend of storytelling and technology wrapped into one shiny package.

I haven’t heard much about Wall-E, and I’ll watch any Pixar movie really.

Love it hehehe. Pepsi and Nigo (designer of Japanese cult brand A Bathing Ape) collaborated on a limited edition “Bapepsi”, which you can only get in Japan.

For iPhone Lovers (Not me)

For those iPhone lovers out there (or want to have them), this is a really cool iPhone case from Dutch maker Miniot.


I'm not really big on the iPhone, i mean, it looks cool and the touchscreen is genius, but i still prefer a qwerty keypad cause i need to write and get my sms/emails. So i guess i'm in the Blackberry camp when it comes to smartphones.

With that said, this is still a verrrrry coool casing.

Yummy In My Tummy

Went out for dessert last night at Gourmet Garage in Kemang Raya. I gotta say I’m beginning to like the place even more for its ambience and decent food, some would swear they make the best nasi goreng (fried rice) in JakSel, but it’s a bit too spicy for my taste.

Aint that nice? Hehehe, you know, I’m beginning to appreciate dessert more and more nowadays. We had the carrot cake and toffee something, both with ice cream, both good.

Traveling Companion

Recently I had to go to Sulawesi for some work, and I decided that the long trip (1½ days just to get to my destination) means I should take some traveling companion (my trusty iPod and books) to keep me busy. I needed a new headphones cause I lost my old original iPod earphones, which I thought wasn’t very good anyway, so off I go to Senayan City for some shopping.

Picked up a book (Ender’s Game, brilliant book, I’ll write about it sometime) and got these excellent Senheiser headphones that are just soooo cool.

I don’t like big headphones cause they’re too bulky, but I don’t like small ones either cause they don’t block out external sounds, so this one is just right for me. Not only is the sound quality good, but you can fold it too! so it’s not awkward to store in you backpack.

Brilliant.

The Greatest Rapper Alive??

Seriously, where did this guy come from? out of nowhere thats for sure. I thought he was just gonna be another southern rapper (see: nelly, master p, etc) who's all flash and no substance, but Wayne is so much more than that.

I got hooked the first time i heard "Go DJ", then i started downloading anything i can find on frostwire. He can make me laugh ("you give good brain like you graduated from a good school" - You, Lloyd) or suprised ("i am a beast/feed me rappers or feed me beats" - We Taking Over, DJ Khaled).

Honourable mentions include songs "I'm Blooded", "Championship Pop Bottles", "Prostitute Flange", and many others. But my favorite is "I Feel Like Dying", just download it from somewhere and you'll hear a genius discovering his true potential and laying it on wax.

My Lifesaver

I cant live without it man. Saved me mucho dineros. My samsung cdma phone is always with me wherever i go, granted i gotta carry two phones (1 gsm, 1 cdma) but its worth it. Office people can call you on it, my gf calls me on it, and you can talk on the phone for an hour for just Rp 1000! thats like...30 cents??? my phone bill would probably be sky high without it. Gotta love cdma technology.

but i really wanna get this new samsung phone, cause its a dual gsm/cdma phone in one! that would save my life man. when you go out and stuff, it gets cumbersome to carry 2 phones, so its a prettttyyy good idea.

Birks All The Way

Got into Birkenstocks when I was studying in Melbourne, Australia, but I cant put ‘em away ever since. I got like 4 in various colours and styles, and they go with jeans and everything. You know Indonesia is hot! So I wear ‘em all the time.
