A great white recently terrorised some kayakers and fishermen off the coast of Sydney, Australia, and was captured on video. A couple of hours before a man diving with his 24 year old son was also snatched by a great white, and presumed dead when they found his torn wetsuit.
I'm so scared of sharks its not even funny, I have a perpetual fear of the ocean even though i'm only in knee deep water. Watching Jaws at a young age certainly didn't help either!

Mrs Officer Video
Loved this song, Lil Wayne shows that he's got many hits in The Carter III, Lollipop wasn't an anomaly!
That song got him platinum status, but A Milli got him the critical accolade (though the video wasn't so good). He's just showing that he has even more ammo in the bag, and he can tailor it to pop sensibility or street cred.

Fake Thundercats Trailer
This is an amazing achievement! hahahaha someone took the time to cobble together footage from movies like X-Men, Troy, Heroes and many others to create a fake Thundercats trailer.
The movie has Hugh Jackman, Vin Diesel, Brad Pitt and many others! hehehe quite and achievement. Looks impressive for something fanmade.
Land Of The Lost Poster
I love Will Ferell, I love Anchorman-Zoolander-Taladega Nights-anything that he is in, I think he's a comic genius. He can go from screaming insane to humiliating himself to straight deadpan. Like i said, genius.
I have no idea how this movie is going to turn out, for sure i hated the recent Journey To The Center Of The Earth movie like my life depended on it, it's a screaming pile of dog doo doo. I would like the hour and half i spent watching that movie back. Complete waste of time.
That said, Lost has Will Ferell! so i have a glimmer of hope that it turns out at least entertaining.
Fast & Furious 4
Reebok ERS 2000
Not actually a big fan of Reeboks, i don't even think i have any, but these are cool. I would definitely get these. Check 'em out at Hypebeast.

Newcastle United 2 - 1 Tottenham Hotspur
Two goals courtesy of Charles N'Zogbia and Damien Duff (pic from Soccernet) lifted us to 12 place on the league, not a bad run is it?
We're mid table now, a perfect position to mount a climb for european places that is lucrative for the club. I would love it if we somehow finish in the top 10, and optimism is returning to St James Park with confidence running high.
We just have to keep winning games, thats it. And i don't care what people say, Joe Kinnear HAS TO BE MANAGER OF THE YEAR. The task of managing and reinvigorating Newcastle is a thankless one, and despite the condition and pressure he is in Joe performed admirably and should be recognized for it.
Even though he might not be our manager next year, hey, this is Newcastle we're talking about hehehe.

Somebody Put Me Out Of My Misery
An excellent article over at the Telegraph about the future of Michael Owen and Newcastle United.
The club is just in shambles at the moment with the sale of the club an ongoing process, sorting out player contracts is not even in their mindset, even though we're talking about Michael Owen here.
I always thought that if someone was to take over the mantle of Alan Shearer, which is an impossible burden as it is, then the purchase of Owen from Real Madrid for $17 million was a step in the right direction.
You build teams around this guy, and despite his injury record and apparent lack of motivation, you do not ignore a talent like Michael frickin Owen!
"Allowing a goal scorer of his calibre to get into this contractual situation speaks volumes, not so much about Michael Owen but about the current owner of Newcastle United and where he sights really lie. He's trying to get his money back on the club."I'm just disgusted at how the club is being run, how the hell are we suppose to climb up the table and challenge teams if the foundation is not right?
We should be adding players, not letting go our best assets. Mike Ashley should just dig in, invest in the club and try to bring it up the table. Who the hell is going to pay $300 something million if the club is the joke of the Premiership??? or worse, relegated.

Those are some impatient spaniards man heheheThis is just another example of the growing impatience in football, coaches and players are not given the time to develop anymore, if the don't perform in the short term they're given the boot. This kind off instability is off putting to progress and is definitely detrimental to the players.

McDonalds Redesign

I saw an article in BusinessWeek about McDonalds slowly changing their image, which is a good thing that they're doing. If you remember what their stores and packaging looks like in the 90s, its crap compared to what it is now. McD went from a kiddie friendly place with bright colours, to a hip hangout with smartly designed interior and even gourmet coffee. I use to think that some products are so successfull that they don't need to change with the times, i guess that thinking just doesnt apply anymore.
So when will Coke tinker with the original cola?

Terminator 4 Footage
New footage of the 4th Terminator movie courtesy of Entertainment Tonight, and it looks awesome!
I love the Terminator movies, the 1st and 2nd was amazing, and the 3rd i only liked the cool ending. The idea of trying to change the future, or fate, is a fascinating one. On top of that you got the central confrontation of man vs. machine, and i love endlessly arguing the fact that this might happen in our future (though hopefully not too soon).

Soju
I've always to try the korean liquor Soju, but never got the chance to do it yet. I love japanese and korean commercials, they take it to the extreme and always keep it tongue firmly in cheek. This Lee Hyori one is pretty cool.
Punisher Coming Out Soon
HD Softail Springer
Motorcycles come in two different "religion", you got sport bikes and touring bikes. And for the latter some would say that there is nothing better than a Harley Davidson.
This is an HD Softail Springer, which is apparently modelled on one of the older models, hence the retro look and visible springs on the front. Such a cool bike, makes me want to learn how to ride one hehehe.

New Lebron Commercial (Featuring Lil Wayne)
This is a pretty cool advertisement for Nike featuring Lebron James (and a small cameo by our favorite gremlin Weezy), the chalk thing is cool.

Nike & Adidas
Some cool shoes courtesry of Hypebeast, I definitely want to get these if they come over to Indonesia! first up is the Adidas ZX 90 running shoes.
Next is prototype shots of the Nike Footscape, which had a limited release in the late 90s i think. These are my favorite shoes ever, there's a black and white variant that i saw back in the day that is my personal pick for best shoe ever.

Sheraton Pudong
Stayed at the very nice Sheraton hotel during my recent visit to China, and i cannot recommend the place enough if anyone is looking for an excellent place to stay in Shanghai. The hotel is located in the Pudong area, not very far from the city centers and is accessible through the subway line as well, just outside its doorstep.
The design is just immaculate, i particularly love the restaurant which has a modern design.
And you know the food is good!
